Superfood Oatmeal


1/2 cup organic gluten-free steel-cut oats

1/4 cup almonds, walnuts or cashews

1/4 cup blueberries

1 scoop protein powder

2 Tbsp hemp seeds

2 Tbsp goji berries

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp bee pollen

1 tsp maca powder

dash of nutmeg

Maple syrup, to taste


Mix the oats with warm water, cover, and leave on the counter for at least 7 hours and as long as 24 hours (overnight is fine)

Bring an additional 1/2 cup of water to a boil

Add the soaked oats, reduce heat, cover and simmer several minutes, stirring occassionaly

Remove from heat, stir in additional ingredients, and let stand for a few minutes before eating
